but in the words of bruce lee - walls don't shoot back :P
what happens if you shoot at the enemy soldier, do they only flinch at half the rate, what about damage per bullet? how about shooting at vehicles, can you see if every bullet is doing the (correct) damage? is there any difference between normal and hardcore as far as this bug is concerned?

Great questions. Let me try to answer them. Also, if you would like to help me, we could definitely run more tests that require multiple players.

I don't remember whether the enemy soldiers flinch at half the rate or not. It has been a while. But I would imagine they would because they are only being hit by bullets at half the rate.

In terms of the damage per bullet, this is something I would need to test. But my prediction going into the test would be that 1 bullet does 1 bullet worth of damage. So you have 15 bullet worth of damage in a full magazine. I say this because if 1 bullet did 2 bullets worth of damage to compensate, they are essentially admitting there is a problem. And instead of fixing it, they bandaged it. Also, if they were to do that, that could throw off the semi auto / single shot weapons because they do indeed have all bullets in the magazine. There are ways around this, I understand, but still its a bandage, not a true fix.

Shooting at vehicles (soft targets) should also be tested. But its hard to test because you dont know what the "correct" damage should be. So we cant gauge whether the bullets are doing 1x or 2x damage per bullet.

No, I do not believe there is a difference between normal and hardcore. This is a fundamental flaw with the game engine relating to fully auto weapons.

Actually, I found another fundamental flaw while I was editing this video last night. I plan on following it up with another video when I get home tonight.
