simple specs:
i7 6700k
1070gtx
16 gigs ram

i recently updated my geforce drivers, and tried to play bf4 but now the game is stuck at 60 frames per second and it just feels like there is horrible input lag. previously i was running at ~144 frames per second.

v-sync is off. i can't figure out where all my frames went =/

maybe some of you have suggestions i haven't tried yet. thanks.

Sounds like v-sync is on in the nvidia control panel. Did you check in both the game and and the control panel?

just double checked that - v sync is off both in game and in nvidia control settings.

Strange, I'm using the new drivers and i have no fps drop on my 1070. That's a real head scratcher. Glad you got it worked out.

Same thing happened to me when AMD released their drivers. I reverted back and all was well.
