niiiiice. Over the past like 6 years I have had great luck with ASUS monitors and will probably stick with them as long as they stay comparable in performance/price.

If so, that's going to take a while to save up!

Don't want to rain on the parade, but 200hz at 3440x1440.....yeah, good luck running that.

The X34 Predator I've had now for about a year and half, one 1080ti barely runs BF4 with maximum everything at 85 fps. Sure you can go sli and throw another card into the mix, but then you get the crappy micro stuttering and lousy input lag. Even with two cards, you'll be nowhere near 200hz in demanding games.

What I'm waiting for is a 34-35" Ultra Widescreen in 4k, with 120hz refesh rate/GSync. Ultra Widescreen really is fantastic, I can't imagine going back at this point now.

Twins,

What do you think about the Acer Predator Z35P - 35-inch Curved UltraWide1800R QHD (3440x1440) NVIDIA G-Sync Widescreen Display, it's 100Hz and can be overclock to 120Hz. The Predator Z35P cost $1,099.99, which is cheaper than the The X34 Predator {$1,167.99) that is 60Hz and can be overclock to 100Hz... not sure why it's cheaper, I must be missing something.

Seems like a great deal! I like the overboost to 120hz capability (X34 only has 100hz). It's also priced about $300 cheaper than what it cost to get me into an X34 about 18 months ago. I think it's the perfect stop gap until they introduce the 4k monitors I was talking about above.

The only thing I wish they'd bring back is Nvidia 3D vision for monitors above 1080p. I really, really miss 3D for some of my games.
