Do certain computer games mark intelligence?

Interesting article- but performance in FPS (BF3 was evaluated) fell off with age..(so I will continue to be a vehicle whore I guess)..

Nah, article is rubbish. It doesn't take into account that as you get older, you obviously have more responsibilities in life and don't have the ability to sit behind a computer 7-8 hours a day playing games. FPS games are like anything else in life, the more you practice, the better you get.

As you get older, the trick is moderation. I'm 41 and as long as I play the game for a couple hours a week, nothing really deteriorates. It's like riding a bike, you never forget. As well, the experience somebody my age has after playing fps games for what...23 years at least, makes up plenty for whatever slight diminishing of reflexes might be there.

Obviously if you take a guy my age who hasn't played an fps game in years, of course he's going to get destroyed. There's no substitute for actual game time.
